CFO perspective on how to create shareholder value with SAP

In this clip from our webinar, “Building Shareholder Value Through Enterprise Technologies from SAP,” watch Peter Licata, the CFO of DiRx, share his perspective on how he has leveraged SAP technology to create shareholder value for public and private companies that have been part of his professional journey.

Peter’s experience with SAP extends from transitioning from Quickbooks to an SAP ERP solution, to larger ERP solutions such as SAP S/4 HANA and everything in between. He has been a part of selection processes for an Enterprise Resource Planning solution, and the aim is always to find a solution that solves the pain points while offering the right tools and controls, workflows, and accountability with people signing off and moving job functions forward in a trackable manner. While smaller solutions such as Quickbooks serve a purpose in the initial stages of a company, it is important to transition to more mature solutions such as SAP ERPs (which include SAP B1, SAP S/4 HANA and SAP Business ByDesign) that can also support workflows, and generate real time analytics for effective decision making.

Peter describes how implementing a new ERP solution is a high exposure and high disruption process, and why it is critical to have the right team internally and the right team as the implementer externally.  The SAP implementation partner is what drives a successful product roll out and project.

In Peter’s experience, Saberpoint has helped with an understanding of and choosing the right SAP solutions for a business, and assisted with implementing business flows that support companies in different stages of their lifecycle from beginning to end as we understand not just the industry, but as importantly how transactions work such as for order to cash. Peter confirms that he will choose to work with Saberpoint again based on our team and the value that we bring to our clients!
